A Fly-Out designed for all club members is organised for 20 March. Clive Innocent is planning the event that will include meeting up at Colemore, flying to Popham for tea, flying on to White Waltham for lunch, via an overflight of Hannington, then back to Colemore. All aircraft are catered for, they will fly in 3 waves, matched by flight performance. This will be the first event of this type for the club and many pilots have already expressed their intention to take part. This will be a fantastic days flying so make it a firm date in your diary. Microlight flying is reeling at the loss of Martin Bromage. He was a real character, a talented flyer and a true friend to many members of the Hampshire Microlight Flying Club. It is typical of Martin that when planning his epic flight to Australia he would do so by supporting a charity close to his heart - Help for Heroes. He and all flyers recognise that the challenge he undertook had its dangers, he planned his flight carefully and faced those dangers with resolve, he will always be a hero to us. We would like to pass on our condolenses to his family at this sad time. |
